22nd – 24th September Phnom Penh and Cambodia
Tuesday, September 26th, 2006I don’t feel like I can do justice to the country of Cambodia or the city of Phnom Penh as I was there for such a short time. I enjoyed what I saw and would like to return. I arrived in the middle of their public holiday so it was very quiet which was a relief after Vietnam. (more…)
After a bit of a ‘westerner comfort’ evening with the lovely Jacqui (who is working in Ho Chi Minh at a local orphanage) – eating Lasagne (CHEESE!) and sitting on a sofa eating apple pie and watching a film! it is time to say goodbye to Ho Chi Minh City. I didn’t feel like I had time to get a real feel for the place – it is more chilled than Hanoi but more touristy and western.
