In my continuing quest to find a way to reduce my carbon footprint, and my particular interest in low carbon travel, I have found myself increasingly drawn to horses. Is this because I was born in the Chinese year of the horse and have always dreamed of being a horsey person, or is it a realisation that all humans have an ancient connection with these sensitive herd animals or is it that it simply that I am onto something – Can our history be part of our future? Someone asked me the other day, this simple question, but it reminded me of some of the interest (and criticism) my living choices provoked two years ago when I had only just set up this blog.  In the constant monsoon style rain that has persisted for what seems like a full year since I returned from travelling, I think it is good to review my choice of dwelling! The End – or the beginning of the next journey…..
