Book Launch at The Tabernacle

At one moment I looked out to over one hundred people smiling back at me as they crammed into the Tabernacle building in Machynlleth, to join me to celebrate.  This was the culmination of a large part of the last four years of my life.  From the planning, the journey and the writing about it.  It has been truly life changing!  So many people have helped me along the way, and this was my chance to thank some of them.

Including aviation is a breakthrough

There is exciting news today, for the future of our planet, as a new climate change bill last night made its way successfully through parliament, being voted in almost unanimously with 463 votes for and 3 against.  The inclusion of international aviation and shipping to the bill is a great breakthrough and only came at the last minute due to pressure from a number of Labour backbenchers and campaigners. I wish I could leave already as I am a bit worried that I have not got enough time to get to Singapore for the boat, but there are so many variables there is no point worrying and just hope that it was fated to work out!
