I live in mid-west Wales on a farm in the foothills of Snowdonia National Park. The farm is totally off-grid and our power comes from a small hydro-turbine in the nearby river and our heating comes from the wood in the forest surrounds. I live in a 12ft caravan which is small and cosy and limits my space for uneccesary possessions. It brings me closer to nature; the weather, wildlife and fresh air. When I am not writing I sometimes work in the vegetarian restaurant at CAT, pack vegetables for the local organic veg. box scheme or am to be found busking on the streets playing the accordion with my friend Suzanne. I enjoy gardening, keep chickens, love horses and get everywhere nowadays on my bike.
