I shall be on a discussion panel at this event at the Hay Literary Festival. I shall be talking about my book along with Alistair Sawday and Elaine Brook. There will be a Q and A session and a short workshop after lunch. I am still planning to arrive by Horse and Cart, all being well.... On the Dream stage. Tickets £5.

This is an opportunity to experience the joy of travelling by horse and coach and take a ride on the Lonsdale Drag. My friend Mark will be driving his team of four black, friesian stallions along with this unique, beautiful and historic coach. If I wasn't touring Devon on my bike, I would be there with them.

The Fragmented Orchestra

I will be helping to bring CAT's section of the Fragmented Orchestra to the world, with zero damage to the planet! Along with local musicians, we will travel to CAT by foot and bicycle and play acoustic music from around the globe. Folk tunes from France, Ireland and Greece as well as traditional Klezmer music will be performed by accordion, violin and whistle. I shall be reading some exclusive extracts from my book too!
